Otter is a prop bait that excels at triggering bites, thanks to its prop that spins even at dead-slow speeds and a body designed to eliminate erratic movements. With a detachable insert weight, it can be fished at any depth. When the weight is removed, the bait is slow-sinking and designed to stay just below the surface, providing a stable swimming action even in choppy water or windy conditions. This encourages reluctant bass to bite and reduces the chances of the lure being thrown off during the strike. Adding the weight allows the bait to sink at a faster rate, enabling anglers to target mid-water and bottom-dwelling fish. Additionally, a wire guard attached to the weight helps to detect and avoid obstacles, allowing the Otter to be fished effectively in tight cover, a weakness of traditional prop baits. By not relying solely on surface-oriented presentations, the Otter is an aggressive prop bait that can be used to confidently target productive fishing zones.
LONG BLADE PROP
The prop features an ultra-thin, lightweight stainless steel blade design with an extended length. This design increases water resistance, enhancing low-speed rotation performance while maintaining a moderate "retrieving sensation." This contributes to sustained concentration even at deep depths, preventing a "dead" feeling.
WATER THROUGH BODY
Water-through ducts, which pass through the body, suppress body movement when water enters during retrieval. This passive body allows the prop to rotate freely, maximizing the prop bait's effectiveness.
INSERT PLATE WEIGHT
The detachable weight system with a wire guard offers dual sinking rates, enabling precise depth control from top to bottom. The wire guard provides enhanced bottom sensitivity and obstacle avoidance capabilities, allowing for aggressive cover fishing.
