Subtle Motion & Soft Sound Concept

 The Silent Killer a new concept in big bait manufacturing. Different from conventional big bait production. Deps has a totally new manufacturing process utilizing core and resin formation. This big bait construction incorporates hard foaming resin with a soft outer shell.  The inner core drives the hydrodynamics and motion. The texture of the shell also innovative, provides an elastic cover that responds to movement. The skin also offers a unique display, providing spacial depth in hues and patterns. The motion generated under slow retrieves and dead sticking is dramatic. The life like positioning of the lure and subtle motion draws interest of big bass.

The front portion of the Silent Killer has an overlap of soft shell which dampens un-natural lure noise while protecting both body halves during retrieve and casting. The Silent Killer is hydrodynamically correct allowing water to be channeled correctly. Pectoral fins and anal fins are modeled vertically to keep hooks in better position for increase hooking ratio and assist in avoiding catching the sides of the lure.  The quiet appeal and low noise innovation gives the silent killer advantages in drawing and catching large bass.

■SURFACE RETRIEVE

By using a slow retrieve, the lure generates soft non offensive surface waves. The swimming motion of the Silent Killer is not erracted or abrupt. it appears more like an un-hurried bait fish or a bait fishing under fatigue.  This realistic motion allows bass to pursue without caution. With your rod tip raised craw the lure to the surface so the dorsal fin breaks the surface and allow the bait to gently be retrieved. 

■DEAD STICKING

The Silent Killer is highly effective in deadsticking. Its buoyancy and balanced position and elaborate detail gives the lure a natural realistic profile.  Allow the bait to rest (no motion) for several seconds, then jerk the tip of the rod. This will cause the tail to slap like a feeding trout.

■SUBSURFACE RETRIEVE

Subsurface retrieves have proven high effective with the Sliient Killer.  In the event big fish do not commit to the suface silhouette of the lure,  the sub-surface swim-motion of the Silent Killer is highly effective. The band of travel and depth of 1.5 meters (3-4 feet) places the lure in reach of hunting bass. The retrieve is highly effective against bass that are using relatively shallow cover. Place the rod tip towards the water use a medium retrieve. 

■POLYCARBONATE LIP

The expanded and uniquely shaped lip helps the Silent Killer swim in a more agile fashion while  avoiding snags through deflection. The square lip is made from a quality polycarbonate superior to impacts.

■HOOK/OWNER ST-46HOOK

The lure is equipped with Owner’s ST-46 surface treated hook.  This strong and durable carbon hook has a high penetration rate due to its slippery surface. Coloration of the hook was selected for the purpose of blending the hook with the  realistic lure body. 

■JOINT ACTION

The damper effect of the soft shell stretched beyond thebody half suppresses noise at the joint helps the lure avoid body core clashing together.  The rears section of the soft shell also flexes the tail during movement creating strong appeal.

■WATER THROUGH DUCT PAT.P

The Patented Water-Through Duct System allows water to flow under the skin surface through the body. As a result the Silent Killer feels more natural when a bass bites the body. Water is gently despursed This often results in a fish re-considerting to bite as they can feel the water pressure.
