The High-Response Big Bait for All Ranges
From high-floating to sinking, our Reload Weight System adjusts floatability, and the light body with no need of a heavy tackle makes RAIKIRI excellent to maneuver in any range. This big bait adds more technical moves and fun into the game like you have never known before.
RAIKIRI allows the exciting top water game with sharp sliding and walking the dog, attracting the big bass to slice the water surface. It handles swimming in S-shape, waking, slide & dart, high-speed stop & go, you name it. Its readiness to all situations comes from the firm stability and the flat body that responds quickly to the rod handling – the perfected setting unique to RAIKIRI.
We preserved the big bait form - one of the huge factors that attracts the bass. RAIKIRI also responds to the conditions of the field and bass immediately, assisting you in quick actions. This versatile and tireless big bait not only satisfies seasoned anglers, but also educates those who have avoided big baits how effective and amazingly rewarding it is.

1. Reload Weight System, Attachable adjusting weights
You can attach up to 4 tungsten weights. From high-floating (surface) to sinking (deep), RAIKIRI’s original weight system allows 5 different floating ranges according to your situations.
2. Weight Setting
Floating and diving ranges are based on the tests at the water temperature of 10°C (50°F) with 20lb Fluoro line.
a) High Floating
Specialized in walking the dog and sliding at the surface. The flat body produces strong slapping sound on the water and the splashing action that choreograph a predator‘s biting and the bait fish scrambling away. Wait to see an exciting scene where the big bass somersaults out of the water.
b) High Floating
Dog-walking, skating, plus diving – RAIKIRI imitates the big bait fish that picks at a feed on the surface and dives down.
Retrieving in S-shape and a short jerk to slide-dart down to 30cm (1 foot)-deep. Floating action right after a stop sometimes invites exploding bites. In retrieving, RAIKIRI is good at waking on the backwash.
d) Slow Floating
Retrieving in S-shape and a slide-dart down to 80cm (2.6 feet)-deep. Mixing consecutive darting and extra-fast retrieving to entice fish, then let it float slowly for a nice effect. Adding steal or lead weights can adjust the suspending.
The steady swimming posture and an alluring dart take care of the middle to deep range with the heaviest setting. Even during sinking, RAIKIRI’s high response never wanes.
f) Rattle Sound Setting
When you set 1 to 3 tungsten balls without a plastic ball, it gives a rattle-sound effect. The weight that rolls in the open weight space makes the muffled sound at each jerk and twitch, coaxing a bite.
3. Body Form
The light-weight flat body maintains the prominent presence – the strength of big baits – while achieving agile handling, unlike regular big baits. RAIKIRI doesn’t tire anglers, but helps them stay focused on various technical game plans.
RAIKIRI’s wide flat surface not only creates robust flashing, but also slaps the water surface with force and stirs the stream mightily in the water.
4. Stabilizer Fin
Controlling the nose-dive, the stabilizer fin helps keep RAIKIRI’s head up. During jerking and twitching, it reduces the line-tangling.
By restraining excess rolling, the perpendicular fin stabilizes the swimming and allows sharp and extended darting.
5. Hook Setting
So that you can change the hook location according to your situation, 3 hook eyes are provided. The default hook set is great for swimming in the middle range with 3 to 4 weights. From topwater to the shallow range, where launching bites from below often occur, a double-hook setting on the front is effective. It especially works well with up to 2 weights. The hooking rate is the highest with the 3-hook setting. It’s best to adjust the hook size while you are checking the balance of the bait’s action. In the situation where a chase doesn’t lead to a bite, a feather hook on the tail may help.
